Paul Mueller invests $600,000 in Springfield plant, creates 200 jobs

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Paul Mueller Company announced plans to invest $600,000 in its plant in Springfield, Mo., which will result in the creation of about 200 jobs, ky3.com reported.

The company manufactures stainless steel tanks, processing systems and equipment for the food, dairy, beverage, chemical, biofuels, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and pure water industries.

Most of the new jobs are for welders and grinders.

“This is excellent news for the economy of Springfield, southwest Missouri and beyond. I want to thank the leadership of Paul Mueller, for their dedication to further invest in our great state,” said Gov. Jay Nixon.
