LONDON — An estimated 1,300 barrels
of oil have spilled into the U.K. North Sea from a leaking pipeline at a Royal
Dutch Shell PLC platform since last Wednesday, The
Wall Street Journal reported.
If Shell’s estimate is correct, the
oil spill is the largest to affect the country since 2000.
