Syngenta Chairman takes medical leave

Syngenta AG, the world''s largest agrochemical company, said May 20 that Chairman Heinz Imhof is currently receiving medical treatment and has taken temporary leave of absence from the company, the Associated Press reports. During his absence, Vice-Chairman Martin Taylor will assume the role of acting chairman for the Swiss firm.
