WORCESTER, Mass. — ThermoEnergy Corp. has entered into a global business development agreement with Dawson James Financial Services, Inc., according to a press release.
Dawson James will tap its business development network in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia to advise ThermoEnergy in identifying new opportunities, assisting with the negotiation of sales, services and vendor support contracts and with introductions to water treatment market participants and government agencies.
"Rapid economic development in places like China, Brazil and Colombia have brought the issue of wastewater recovery and treatment to the forefront in these countries," said David Weinstein, vice president of business development at Dawson James Financial Services. "China already has a $475 billion pollution abatement program in place, serious concerns and stricter new regulations are appearing in Latin America and sustainability remains a high-priority issue in North America."
