A former Birds Eye vegetable-processing plant in Fulton, N.Y., is being reopened under new ownership, The Post-Standard reported.
A real estate holding company bought the property Thursday on behalf of Bemsa Holdings LLC, which is owned by New Jersey-based Pinnacle Foods.

The state of New York is giving the company up to $1 million in Excelsior tax credits for the facility, which is expected to create 183 jobs.
Approximately 280 workers were laid off when Birds Eye closed the plant in December 2011.
