BLACKMAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A $25 million chemical plant being built in Blackman Township, Mich., is on track to open by early October, MLive.com reported.
The 200,000-square-foot facility, owned by specialty chemical company Chemetall US Inc., will initially employ 75 people.
The plant will manufacture surface treatment chemicals to pre-treat metal used in the manufacture of durable goods and the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment used in a broad range of U.S. industries.
