Accenture, Bristol-Myers open drug safety center in India

Accenture Ltd., a consulting, technology services and outsourcing firm, has opened a joint center to monitor drug safety data in India with Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., according to the Associated Press. The center located in Chennai, India, will capture, assess and report potential side effects to medicines. It will be operated by more than 140 Accenture employees. Financial details were not disclosed.
