Archer Daniels MidlandCompany announced that local management at its facility in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland has entered into negotiations with the local unions regarding the discontinuation of its operation, PRNewswire reports. The plant, which manufactures a range of citric and gluconic acid products mainly for use in the food and soft drinks industry has been in operation since the early 1970s and was acquired by ADM in 1990. Archer Daniels Midland Company is a world leader in agricultural processing.
