BOARDMAN, Ore. — Seven workers were hospitalized Tuesday night following an ammonia leak at a frozen food processing plant in Boardman, Ore., The Oregonian reported.
Crews reported anhydrous ammonia leaked around 9:30 p.m.
Seven workers were treated for respiratory distress and nausea at a local hospital. Another four were treated at the plant by emergency responders.
The cause of the leak is under investigation.
