SALINAS, Calif. — Ranch Fresh Foods of Salinas, Calif., is voluntarily recalling 2,100 cases of bagged salad mix due to potential listeria contamination, Fox News reported.
The lettuce, sold under the brand names Hy-Vee salads and Giant Eagle’s “Farmers Market,” was distributed in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Iowa.
The recall was issued after random tests indicated the presence of listeria.
No illnesses have been reported.
