California processor recalls meat, poultry products

MAYWOOD, Calif. — AA Meat Products Corporation of Maywood, Calif., is recalling an undetermined amount of meat and poultry products because they may have been produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Wednesday.

The products were sold within California. The problem was discovered during an on-going investigation by FSIS.

FSIS has received no reports of illness due to consumption of these products.
