SHANGHAI — One worker is missing and three others were injured after an explosion ripped through a chemical plant in Shanghai’s Songjiang District last week, People’s Daily Online reported.
The explosion occurred at Shanghai Habo Chemical Technology Co around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning, shattering windows of the factory and nearby buildings.
A preliminary investigation found that a worker’s mishandling of peracetic acid caused the explosion.
