Material Transfer & Storage Inc.’s new Container Discharging and Feeding System is designed to accept, seal, rotate and discharge containers of material at 78 inches above floor level into a surge hopper. The pivot carriage docks to a surge hopper inlet nozzle, the dual slide gates are opened and the contents are discharged without contamination. Once filled, the surge hopper level sensors automatically control the feed rate of the integral screw feeder. The unit features tubular frame construction with continuous welds. Equipment includes acrylic guarding on two sides and a load side light curtain for enhanced operator safety.
