Cylindrical plug valves will not bind under pressure

R&M Energy Systems offers Resun^® Cylindrical Plug Valves for dependable flow control under a wide range of service conditions. Manufactured from cast iron, carbon steel, bronze, stainless steel, or custom alloy materials, the plug valves are available in sizes from 1/2" to 30". Resun Cylindrical Plugs are precisely machined to exacting tolerances, and provide a consistent, bubble-tight seal. Compared to tapered plugs, the Resun full-round port design provides a greater flow path and will not bind under high pressure. In addition to the full-round design, Resun Valves can be supplied with rectangular, diamond, or regular port plugs as well. Multi-port configurations, steam-jacketed valves and automated plug valve packages can be specified for special applications.
