Diaphragm valves feature high temperature resistance for applications

The series includes the Type 314 High Temperature Resistant (HTR) True Union Diaphragm Valve, the Type 315-HTR Diaphragm Valve, and the Type 319-HTR Zero Static Valve. Constructed from virgin, unpigmented SYGEF® PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) HP (high purity) material with a secondary TFM O-ring, these high temperature resistant valves offer excellent performance in applications where temperatures fluctuate across a wide range up to 80°C (176°F). Designed for optimum functionality and convenience, the new valves feature a red "snap-on" hand wheel for easy removal and installation, an optional lockable handle, and a position indicator. Valves can also be pneumatically actuated for automated control. The physical properties of SYGEF PVDF include low weight, abrasion resistance, impact strength and a wide operating temperature range. With excellent all-round chemical resistance and low water absorption, these properties combine to provide a valve material that meets stringent requirements in a variety of high temperature applications. Sizes range from 20 mm through 63 mm for the and from 20 mm (1/2”) through 110 mm (4”) and branch valves from 20 mm to 63 mm for the type 319-HTR zero static valve.
