MIDLAND, Mich. — Dow Chemical said it plans to donate up to $500,000 in relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The Midland-based chemical company will donate $100,000 to the American Red Cross National Disaster Fund and $150,000 in grants to local Red Cross chapters and human services providers in areas where Dow has facilities. The company is also implementing an employee matching gift program of up to $100,000.
