The Associated Press reports that DuPont Co. spent more than $1.2 million in the fourth quarter to lobby on biotechnology, climate change and other issues, according to a recent disclosure report. DuPont also lobbied on issues related to chemical regulation, defense, energy efficiency, chemical plant security, transportation, tax reform, trace and patent reform during the October-November period. Besides Congress, DuPont lobbied the White House, the departments of Agriculture, State, Commerce and Transportation, and other federal agencies, according to the report filed March 2 at the House clerk''s office.
