Eastman Chemical Elects Hershey Executive to Board

Eastman Chemical Co. has elected Hershey Co. executive Humberto Alfonso to its board of directors, according to the Associated Press. Alfonso, 53, is senior vice president and chief financial officer for Hershey. He joined the sweets maker in 2006. A certified public accountant, Alfonso also has served as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry and with Cadbury Schweppes, which is now owned by Kraft Foods Inc.
