Univar, one of the largest chemical distributors in the U.S., has entered into an agreement with Endress+Hauser that will allow Endress+Hauser to become the supplier for Univar''s telemetry, instrumentation and support services of its Remote Sentry Tank Telemetry service. Endress+Hauswer is a worldwide supplier of measurement, control and automation solutions for production and logistics in the process industries. Remote Sentry measures the bulk volume in a tank and transmits that information to facilitate automated replenishment. The system eliminates manual measurement cost, automates order entry process, reduces paperwork, improves inventory accuracy and eliminates emergency deliveries.
