The Associated Press reports that California-based energy company Enmex Corporation filed a counter suit against independent oil refiner Tesoro Corporation for $2 billion in damages. The suit alleges breach of contract, wrongful interference with the business, misrepresentation and other claims. Enmex said Tesoro breached a security agreement and four fuel transportation agreements between the two companies. Enmex also said Tesoro, along with other unnamed cross-defendants, intentionally interfered with the company''s existing and potential business relationships and misrepresented the company "as part of a scheme to damage Enmex''s business." Tesoro alleged that Enmex owes Tesoro $91 million in a collection claim filed in January, said Lynn Westfall, a spokesman for Tesoro.
