According to Bloomberg, Exxon Mobil isolated and contained a valve leak at a coker gas plant at its Beaumont, Texas, refinery. Workers used the coker flare to reduce emissions as they attempted to fix the leak. Emissions associated with the incident began at 2:05 p.m. local time yesterday and were expected to last 24 hours. The refinery has a capacity of about 360,000 barrels a day, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
