Fieldbus Controlled Multi-filling System

Watson-Marlow introduces the new Flexicon MC100 control system to allow for easy and seamless integration of their peristaltic dispensing pumps. Ideal for single-use filling, the MC100 is designed to be integrated on new and existing filling systems, providing line flexibility for fast and contamination free changeovers. The MC100 is a fieldbus controlled multi-filling system, capable of controlling from one to 16 Watson-Marlow peristaltic dispensing pumps in a local network. The very accurate and reliable peristaltic technology provides accuracy of up to +-0.5 percent down to the micro fill volumes. Available field interfaces include DeviceNet and Profibus DPV1. Peristaltic dispensing is ideal for single-use filling not only for small production runs but also for high speed filling lines. Furthermore, its short fill time makes it a serious alternative to other dispensing technologies such as piston pumps.
