According to bizjournals.com, General Mills is considering building a $36 million distribution and warehouse center in Fort Wayne, Ind., where it already has similar operations, according to a report Tuesday. The proposed 1.5 million-square-foot operation would create 65 jobs. General Mills already has a 760,000-square-foot distribution center in the area. It employs 78 people. Local development officials didn’t know if General Mills was considering consolidating the operations are running two separate sites.
