SOUTH HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Gold Creek Foods announced it is hiring 200 more workers in 2013 for its newly remodeled poultry processing plant in South Hall County, Ga., The Gainesville Times reported.
Gold Creek invested more than $2 million in renovating the plant, which processes an average of 363,000 pounds of chicken per week.

“We are looking to provide an additional 200 jobs in 2013 and get into the value-added business by cooking poultry products within the next three to five years,” said Mark Sosebee, CEO and co-founder of Gold Creek Foods.
The company currently employs approximately 900 people.
