Specialty paper maker Glatfelter completed its acquisition of Concert Industries Corp. for $235 million, according to the Associated Press. Concert Industries, of Canada, makes cellulose-based non-woven material that is used in items like specialty wipes and feminine hygiene products. Glatfelter has seen its share price jump over the past year because customers that had run through inventories have been forced to stock up once again and the economy stabilizes. Concert had been owned by Brookfield Special Situations Management Ltd.
