According to the Associated Press, food maker H.J. Heinz Co. said recently it will build a manufacturing plant in Florence, S.C.
The new plant will produce products for its frozen meals business. The plant will allow Heinz to increase production of its Weight Watchers, Smart Ones and Boston Market frozen entrees.
Heinz plans to complete the construction of the facility, which will employ 350 workers, in the fall of 2009.
