The modular, high shear in-line dynamic mixers can be used for producing creams, lotions, and ointments that require a homogeneous, smooth, and creamy texture. The wet-mix process systems combine a colloid mill and positive displacement feed pump, matched to customer requirements, for mixing and blending creams, lotions, and ointments. Featuring a high shear mixing head, these in-line dynamic mixing systems are ideally-suited for emulsions, dispersions, and the de-agglomeration and wetting-out of particles. Primarily developed for cosmetics, food, and pharmaceutical processing, the wet-mix process systems are FDA, USDA, and 3A compliant and fully-scalable. The unit can mix and blend viscous materials from 1,000 CPS and up, with flow rates from 0.5 to 300 GPM, requiring dispersion down to 1 micron, and ±1-percent repeatability; depending upon ingredients and application.
