ST. LOUIS — Nawgan Products LLC, a St. Louis start-up beverage company, announced that Japanese brewer Kirin Holdings is buying a minority interest in the company, according to a press release.

Nawgan, which was founded in 2007 by brain researcher Dr. Robert Paul, makes a beverage that offers consumers improved concentration and focus.

Kirin’s investment will fund the company’s growth initiative plans throughout North America.
