Microfluidics’ latest version of its versatile laboratory model M-110EH Microfluidizer® high-shear processor, the M-110EH-30, now incorporates new capabilities and features into the original system architecture. Designed to operate reliably and efficiently at up to 30,000 psi process pressure, the M-110EH-30 is easily enables the production of nano-suspensions and nano-emulsions, as well as liposomal encapsulation and cell disruption with the least number of passes. Additionally, the M-110EH-30 now comes standard with both a ceramic and diamond interaction chamber that will allow flow rates up to 450 ml/minute at 25,000 psi, allowing for more efficient processing of pharmaceutical formulations, fine chemicals, and biological material ranging from simple oil-in-water emulsions to highly immiscible solids-in-liquid suspensions. All results from the M-110EH-30 machine are guaranteed to be scaleable to Microfluidics’ broad line of M-700 pilot and production machines. Utilizing Microfluidics'' fixed geometry interaction chamber technology, the M-110EH-30 is capable of generating shear rates within the product stream that are orders of magnitude greater than any other fluid processing or mixing equipment on the market. Shear rate imparts the required energy directly to the product stream, safely disrupting bacteria cells and reducing particles and droplets to nanoparticles.
