Louisville plant evacuated following chemical reaction

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Zeon Chemicals plant in Louisville, Ky., was evacuated this morning after a chemical reaction was reported, according to WDRB 41 Louisville.

Workers were evacuated from the building as fire crews and police responded to the scene and closed roads in the area.

The chemicals involved in reaction have not been reported.

Zeon Chemicals produces elastomers, polymers, synthetic rubber and cyclo-olefin plastics.
