Metal piston pump offers the capabilities needed in high-pressure applications

The metal piston pump has been designed for use in applications that feature very low volumes with high discharge pressures. The pump utilizes a simplex-action piston to create approximately a 13:1 pressure ratio of discharge fluid to inlet air supply to generate up to 110.3 bar (1,600 psig). These capabilities make the pump the most cost-effective solution for applications that require discharge pressures greater than the 1:1 pressure ratio that is traditionally inherent in most AODD pumps. The maximum flow rate for the pump is 4.1 lpm (1.1 gpm), with a maximum inlet air pressure of 8.6 bar (125 psig). With wetted housings made of aluminum, the pump has a maximum suction-lift capability of 7.8 m dry.
