Tennant Company, a world leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing solutions that help create a cleaner, safer world, announced that its breakthrough ec-H2O™ technology has won the Innovation Award at New Zealand’s industry trade show “CleanNZ.” ec-H2O converts plain tap water into a powerful cleaning agent without any added chemicals. CleanNZ is the industry tradeshow for cleaning equipment, supplies and property support services held in New Zealand bi-annually. Every second year a number of brands compete for the CleanNZ Innovation Award. Tennant has won three out of the past four Innovation Awards with previous awards won for FaST™, the M20 and now ec-H2O. “For Tennant’s New Zealand Distributor, Kleentech (a part of the Southern Hospitality Limited), it is a big win to gain their own local endorsement of the product from the cleaning industry itself. The product fits well with New Zealand’s outlook and culture of sustainability,” comments Tennant’s Distributor Manager Allan Napier. Tennant’s ec-H2O™ Chemical-Free Cleaning Technology won the award due to its uniqueness in the industry and focus on environmental sustainability. The innovative technology electrically converts water to perform like a powerful detergent offering customers the possibility to benefit from a sustainable cleaning solution while guaranteeing excellent performance and large efficiency.
