The clearance-seated butterfly valves are primarily intended for use in handling dry plastic pellets. The high abrasion-resistance of the Cast Nylon 6 body liner could also lend itself for use in fly ash service and modulating service in abrasive slurries. The valve is available in ANSI Class 150 lugged body, sizes 4- to 12-inch.
