Philip Blake to head Bayer’s US operations

PITTSBURGH and WAYNE, N.J. — German-based Bayer AG announced Tuesday that Philip Blake has been named Senior Bayer Representative (SBR) USA.

The appointment is effective July 1.

Blake succeeds Greg Babe, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Blake has also been named Bayer HealthCare Representative U.S.A. and will maintain his position as U.S. Region head of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, the U.S.-based specialty pharmaceuticals division of Bayer HealthCare LLC, a subsidiary of Bayer AG.

“Phil Blake is a highly valued and respected leader at Bayer,” said Dr. Richard Pott, member of the Management Board of Bayer AG. “Having been with Bayer for more than 30 years, he brings a wealth of experience to this new role.”
