PLIDCO introduces new Shear + Plug division, facility

The Pipe Line Development Company (PLIDCO) has launched a new Shear + Plug division to design and manufacture a method of solving high-pressure/high-temperature line plugging problems. A new facility in downtown Cleveland houses the new division. Shear + Plug provides a positive metal-to-metal seal, complete with sealant backup that isolates sections of high-pressure, high-temperature or otherwise hazardous piping for any length of time. The state-of-the-art facility is 6,000 square feet and has a high-pressure steam boiler for testing and simulation. The CNC machining center ensures precision tolerances and rapid delivery.
