Pressure sensor with elastomer sleeve eliminates special alloy flanges

The Red Valve Series W Pressure Sensor isolates and protects pressure sensing instrumentation from the process fluid. The full-port design eliminates clogging and ensures accurate pressure measurement under the most difficult conditions. The elastomer sleeve senses pressure 360 degrees around the inner circumference of the unit to overcome the plugging and fouling of traditional diaphragm seals. The elastomer sleeve extends to the full face of the flange to eliminate the need for corrosion resistant alloys. Combinations of elastomers and sensing fluids provide an operating range of -20 degrees F to 400 degrees F. Standard units are rated at 300 psi operating pressure and 450 psi surge pressure. The wafer-style Series W is available in pure gum rubber, Neoprene, Hypalon, chlorobutyl, Buna-N, EPDM or Viton. The Series W is available from 1” to 14” I.D.
