The VEGAFLEX 80 Series has sensors specifically designed for the measurement of liquids or solids as well as hygienic and high temperature/pressure environments. For liquids measurement, level and interface measurement are available from a single sensor. Perhaps the most innovative feature of the VEGAFLEX 80 Series is the user interface. VEGA recognizes that one of the most important aspects of providing a reliable level measurement is ensuring that the sensor is configured in the proper way. VEGA has introduced a new guided setup procedure that makes commissioning simple and safe. By simply answering a few questions on the integral adjustment module or in the PC adjustment software, the user can be confident that the VEGAFLEX 80 will provide a reliable measurement. The enhanced echo processing software in the VEGAFLEX 80 makes it a smart instrument that becomes more reliable as time passes. The sensor is constantly measuring the dielectric constant of the material being measured, keeping track of the mobility of echoes, and learning out false signals as they appear in the process; all of this is done automatically. The VEGAFLEX 80 has a new sensor type that is specifically designed for the measurement of ammonia. In the past, suppliers have had to use expensive high temperature and pressure ceramic or quartz seal systems in order to provide a sensor that could survive ammonia. VEGA has introduced an economical borosilicate glass seal system that is optimized to resist the corrosive effects of ammonia. The VEGAFLEX 80 Series is an advancement in versatility and reliability. Yet, the simplicity of configuration and programming belies the fact that it is the most advanced guided wave radar on the market.
