Rapid sanitation highlights bulk bag discharging system

December 6, 2013

Material Transfer & Storage sanitary material master bulk bag dischargerThis bulk-bag discharging system, engineered for purposes of rapid sanitation, includes features that make it valuable to the material-handling equipment industry, says Allegan, Mich.-based Material Transfer & Storage, including tool-free removal and sanitation of product contact zones.

A heavy-duty “breaker bar” bulk bag massaging system promotes material flow, while a sanitary, tool-free removable discharge gate quickly halts material flow for partial bag discharge.

The removable bag spout access chamber provides optimum access to the bulk bag discharge spout. Spout clamping system ensures dust-tight material discharge. It features sanitary, tool-free removable custom-sloped product-discharge transition, tool-free removable surge hopper and flexible connection. Surge hopper features a tool-free removable level sensor.

All conduit and rigid pneumatic lines are mounted to welded stand-offs for easy equipment cleaning. Corrosion resistant, stainless steel electrical and pneumatic component enclosures lend protection during wash down.

These features can be found on any custom-engineered Material Master bulk-bag discharging systems for integration with existing processes and equipment.
