Air Products unveils epoxy agents

INDIANAPOLIS — Air Products and Chemicals Inc. recently unveiled a few waterborne and solvent-free epoxy curing agents that can be used in a number of coating applications, reports Zacks.com.

The curing agents were introduced at the American Coatings Show 2012 in Indianapolis.

The Amicure IC-221 ad and Amicure IC-321 are new amine curing agents specifically designed for use with standard HDI trimmer isocyanates and are meant for industrial and institutional flooring coatings. Both agents provide a very good return to service and exhibit rapid property development, UV stability and high aesthetics. The curing agents provide excellent adhesion to concrete, rapid hardness development and concrete protection properties.

Air Products also introduced two other agents, Ancamine 2726 and Ancamine 2735, which are cost effective for industrial flooring and protective coatings.

The company also featured the An­quamine 721 epoxy curing agent, another new waterborne epoxy curing agent for the flooring and concrete coatings markets.
