Baghouse Filter Leak Analyzer for EPA-MACT

June 3, 2010
The continuous particulate emission monitor and baghouse filter leak analyzer incorporates Automatic Self Checks (Zero and Span) to ASTM standards to automate regulatory requirements for periodic instrument validation. The Particulate Monitor also features additional system checks to simply installation and set up and to improve overall performance. According to the manufacturer, these features add to the company’s field-proven induction-sensing and protected-probe technologies which provide enhanced reliability over older opacity and triboelectic technologies particularly in difficult applications such as coal, steel, cement, carbon black, lead smelters, chemical plants and pharmaceutical spray dryers. Benefits include stack monitoring, detecting filter leaks for maintenance, eliminating cleanup costs, preventing the escape of valuable powders and protecting downstream equipment such as blowers and HEPA filters.
