Butterfly Valve Allows for Replacement Without Special Tools

American-BFV® Butterfly Valve line offers the advantages of a standard epoxy interior and Tri-Loc™ seat retention system, which allows for field adjustment/replacement without the need for special tools or epoxies. The valve’s disc is constructed of ductile iron for added strength and improved headloss characteristics. The American-BFV® Butterfly Valves design and performance have been verified through proof of design testing with over 40 years of field proven experience. American-BFV® Butterfly Valves are offered in 150B and 250B AWWA Classes with flanged end connections in sizes 3 to 144 inches and mechanical joint end connections in 4 to 48 inches. Wafer Style Butterfly Valves are designed with ANSI 125 flanges or ISO PN10 and PN16 flanges in sizes 4 to 24 inches. The valve fully complies with AWWA C504 and C516, meets NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water use and is WQA Certified Lead-Free.
