China Nutrifruit CEO Resigns, Replaced by Chairman

The Associated Press reports the CEO of Chinese specialty fruits company, China Nutrifruit Group Ltd., has resigned and the company’s chairman has been appointed to replace him. The company said in a news release Tuesday that the board accepted Jinglin Shi''s resignation at its board meeting on Saturday. Shi is leaving for personal and health reasons. Chairman Changjun Yu has taken over as CEO and will maintain his position as board chairman. He is the founder of the company''s subsidiary, Daqing Longheda Food Co. Ltd., and has been chairman since 2008. The company also said it has appointed Jizeng Zhang as the company''s director, effective immediately.
