Continuous Motion Case Packer for High-Speed Packing

April 20, 2010
The case packer can be used for packaging of bottles in a variety of industries, including soft drink, beer, wine, food, and household products. The continuous operation of the system is a high-speed, low-maintenance process that yields greater efficiency than traditional case packers, according to the manufacturer. The unit uses the manufacturer’s pressure-less zero-gap infeed for smooth bottle laning, ensuring balanced lines and jam-resistant operation, according to the manufacturer. Capable of packing up to 75 cases per minute. Designed to maximize placement accuracy and minimize bottle damage, the case packer’s technologically-advanced, dual-axis servo grouper and gripper heads pick up bottles and safely lower them into the case. Additional features of the unit allow for the flexibility of an inline or peninsula layout as well as an optional tablock slitter.
