Cost-Effective Flexible Wear Protection for Piping

The flexible pipe system components use special wear-resistant alloy or ceramic liners to provide a cost-effective way for connecting pneumatic system piping that moves due to vibration, thermal expansion or as a result of intended movement. The components can be integrated into existing pipe systems using normal flanging or coupling connections. They can also be used as a replacement stock item for a number of different angle pieces. Able to withstand wear due to impact and sliding abrasion, the protective linings inside the pipes add savings and longer useful life in production and processing systems. The components sections come in diameters from 1 to 6 inches with available lengths dependent upon the diameter. They can also be supplied with flame resistant or stainless steel jackets for use in extreme environments, such as in the carbon delivery systems of electric arc furnaces.
