HOUSTON — Crestwood Midstream Partners LP has restarted operations at its Corvette natural gas processing facility in Hood County, Texas, following a fire that occurred last Thursday.
The fire damaged one of nine compressors and a portion of the building housing the compressors adjacent to the processing facility.
No injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
The Corvette cryogenic natural gas processing unit was not damaged and was taken out of service as a normal part of the facility''s emergency shut-down procedures.
Natural gas that was flowing through the Corvette facility prior to the compressor incident was re-routed to Crestwood''s other nearby processing facilities or was temporarily shut-in by producers while operations at the Corvette facility were suspended.
Crestwood expects the Corvette facility to be back to full service capability in the next few days.
