Eliminate high maintenance costs with automatic self-cleaning filters

March 28, 2007

The OR Series of automatic self-cleaning filters by Orival, Inc. are designed to reliably remove both organic and inorganic suspended solids. With their highly efficient flushing systems and large screen areas, the filters can handle the dirtiest waters. These rugged filters with stainless steel screens do not rely on electricity, rather, a simple integrated hydraulic system manages the short cleaning cycle triggered by a predetermined pressure loss across the dirty screen or by an adjustable timer. Complete screen cleaning takes only 5-10 seconds with no interruption of clean water flow. Flange sizes are available from 2” to 24” with screens from 3,000 microns down to 5 microns. Some applications include HVAC, intake water, make-up water, reclaimed water, gland seal protection, air compressor protection, process cooling water, I.E. and R.O. prefiltration, continuous casting, cooling towers, descale systems and more.
