September 16, 2010
The Associated Foreign Press reports, one person was killed and three others injured on Wednesday in an explosion in an Arizona Chemicals factory in central Finland. The injured were taken to a hospital and one of them was in serious condition, a spokesman for the company said. The spokesman also said a barrel had previously been used to store flammable turpentine, but the container had been thoroughly cleaned. Workers had even conducted maintenance and welding work on the interior prior to the explosion and the container was filled with water at the time of the blast.
