Explosion at Quebec pharmaceutical plant kills three

QUEBEC, Canada — A third person has died from injuries sustained during an explosion and fire at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Quebec, the Toronto Sun reported.

Marc Couture, who died Saturday night, was one of 19 people injured after an explosion destroyed the Neptune Technologies and Bioresources Inc. plant Thursday.

Four of the 19 people injured in the explosion are still hospitalized.

The blast occurred after approximately 15,000 liters of acetone ignited.
