Former Senator Daschle to Head DuPont Panel Researching Agricultural Products

DuPont Co. recently announced that former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle will head a newly formed advisory committee that will look for ways to meet growing demands for agricultural products, according to the Associated Press. The chemical manufacturer said the goal of the advisory committee is to determine the best ways to help farmers worldwide provide food, feed, fiber and fuel in the next decade. The committee is expected to present public policy recommendations to DuPont in March 2011.
