The goals of the construction project, which started in September 2011, were to double the space for injection molding and quality assurance operations, improve the functionality and cleanliness of those spaces, make the buildings more energy efficient and create an environment appropriate for the high-tech components and products Germanow-Simon manufactures.

“The biggest advantage to continuing to use our existing site, and remaining in Rochester, is keeping a team of people in place who work together every day to satisfy the quality and service expectations of our customers,” said President Andy Germanow “Because there are people in Rochester with the right skills and temperament for the kind of manufacturing work we specialize in, this business has been able to prosper for 95 years.”

Germanow-Simon Corp. consists of two operating companies: G-S Plastic Optics and Tel-Tru Manufacturing Co.
